Note to self

This blog is not only to keep people updated, but also a journal for myself and for me to remember things. Since last week (Blake being 7 weeks) we started to have him eat, play, then sleep. Since he has been doing that he has eaten at 10:30 (ish) at night and then waking up at 2:30 (ish) to eat again, and then 6:30 (ish) to eat again. We do that throughout the day as much as possible. It's hard to stay on this routine when I have friends I am meeting with or places I need to be at. I hope this continues to work because when he stays on this routine I get about 5 1/2 sometimes if it's a really good night I get 6 hours of sleep. I am anxious to see how long he will do this for dadyy and me. Also yesterday with his play Elmo gym he kicked his feet high enough to hit the dangling toys...too cute!

I am for sure enjoying being a mom when he is sleeping more and interacting with me more. He is like a human now...he smiles, coos, somewhat laughs, and is aware of more of his souroundings!

Wed. we go to get his first shots...yikes...I have to go by myself and it will not be fun for me to see him cry!

Hey Momma Sharonie! That is the exact schedule Miss Kayla was on, up until she turned 4 months old. Now she goes to bed around 7pm, gets up around 12-1am, and again around 5-6am. However, this morning she got up at 7am. This was my goal with sleep training to get her to sleep 12 hours and only get up once...hopefully she stays with this for awhile!!! Naps are a whole other story...yikes:-)

Sharon, i couldn't remember your blog's address. I don't have my computer right now...so I went to Judith's and found yours through your comments. anyway...I miss you and I missed hearing about Blake! So glad he is doing well! And it's great to hear that he is on a little bit of schedule. Wow, if there is one thing I'm trying to remember is that the schedule just keeps changing! But that's a good thing - they grow, they change, they grow, they change! Praise God! I love you and miss you! Is there anyone who can go with you tomorrow for the shots?

Wyatt's first shots weren't as bad as I thought they would be. Yes he cried but I think it was more because he was hungry! Way to go on trying babywise. Wyatt only gets up two times for feedings now and I am so glad I stuck to his routine.
