Vacation Kind OF

Jason took off this weekend and this coming week. I had the thought in mind that we would spend so much time together. Unfortunately it hasn't been like that. I went and spent the night at my grandmas with Blake and my other cousins and sister. I thought it would be nice for Jason to have a night off of Blake and a house to himself, and besides Grandma and Grandpa M were missing Blake. When we got back I worked out and Jason and I actually went grocery shopping together. It was so fun...something we did when we were first married. After grocery shopping we headed to my mom and dad's for Blake's first bonfire. Jason and I played bags with Janna and JP. Then ummmm this morning Jason woke up and met a friend for breakfast. I am so glad Jason did something that he could enjoy on his vacation. We leave Wednesday to spend a couple nights at the Harrington. I am excited to just be Jason and I, but kind of sad to leave Blake. I am sure I will do fine.

I look forward to spending some quiet, quality time together with my hubby!

Yeah, the Herrington! I so wish I could cook a meal there for you! Or dip the strawberries in chocolate that can be delivered to your room. Have a blast and I'm so glad you found some time to get away.

How fun! I hope you have a nice rejuvinating time. Couples, with small children especially, are in dire need of some time alone, even when that means missing baby! That is my biggest problem. I didn't haven't spent one night away from him!

That's a really cute picture! Sorry you haven't gotten to spend as much time with Jason as you wanted so far. I know how that feels. It sounds like you had a fun weekend though. Have a wonderful time on your get-away:)
